Software Application UI/ UX Checklist


Here are some key checklist items to validate the UI/UX of a software application.

Consistency: Ensure that the UI/UX design is consistent across all pages of the application, including color schemes, typography, layout, and navigation.

Clarity: Check that the design and layout are clear and easy to understand, so that users can easily navigate and use the software.

User friendliness: Test the software with real users to ensure that it is user-friendly and intuitive to use.

Responsiveness: Ensure that the software is responsive across all devices, including desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Accessibility: Check that the software is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, by following accessibility guidelines such as WCAG.

Speed: Test the speed of the software to ensure that it loads quickly and is responsive to user actions.

Security: Ensure that the software is secure, with appropriate measures such as encryption, user authentication, and secure data storage.

Feedback: Provide users with feedback on their actions, such as confirmation messages and error messages, to improve the user experience.

Aesthetics: Ensure that the software has a visually appealing and attractive design that aligns with the brand image and user preferences.

User testing: Conduct regular user testing to identify and fix any usability issues, and to continuously improve the user experience.

Tamilnadu Women Startups - Scenario

Tamil Nadu has 576 start-ups with all women founders and around 3,654 start-ups with at least one woman founder, shows data collated by YNOS Venture Engine. Of this 2,076 start-ups are based out of Chennai, Coimbatore comes second with 488 startups and Madurai has around 119 start-ups. Tiruchi, Salem and Tiruppur also have substantial number of start-ups which are spearheaded by women. The total funding raised by women-founded start-ups from angels and VCs has been about ₹3,520 crore (124 start-ups). Funding obtained by women-founded start-ups in the form of loans from banks and other sources have been about ₹2,906 crore (308 start-ups).
